Terms

The text that counts is the Spanish one. This English text is there to make it easier to read: if a sentence does not say the same thing, the Spanish one counts. It is also in Italian.

In one sentence

contigo is a personal, free trial version, made so that two people can teach each other a language. It costs nothing, it has no ads, and it may change or close.

1. Who offers contigo

Eugenio Nerelli, a private individual living in Spain. Contact: .

It is not a company. contigo collects no money and shows no advertising, so it is not an economic activity. That is why I do not publish a postal address or a tax number: the Spanish law on information society services (LSSI, art. 10) asks for them from whoever provides a service as an economic activity, and this is not one.

2. What contigo is

A personal, free trial version. It was born for two people who teach each other a language.

During the trial, access may be limited or by invitation only.

It is not a finished product. It may change, stop or close.

3. What it costs

Nothing. No payments, no subscriptions, no ads, no tracking.

No feature that is free today is promised to be free forever.

4. If one day it is paid

One day contigo may become paid, in whole or in part. If that happens:

5. Availability

contigo is offered as it is, with no guarantee of continuity and no support beyond the email above.

I may stop the service for maintenance without notice. I may close it with 30 days' notice, with the same notice inside the app, and you will have time to download your data.

No refunds, because there are no payments.

6. Liability

It is excluded as far as the law allows.

Liability is never excluded for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or harm to people (arts. 1102 and 1902 of the Código Civil; art. 86 of the consolidated consumer law, TRLGDCU).

The language material may contain mistakes. Whoever teaches in contigo may not be a professional teacher or a native speaker. Nobody guarantees that what you learn is accurate.

7. Rules of conduct and reports

You may not:

How to report. Write to the contact in point 1. We confirm that we received it.

What can happen. A piece of content can be removed, an account suspended or closed.

How it is decided. We explain the decision to whoever it affects and to whoever reported (EU Regulation 2022/2065, arts. 16 and 17). No decision is taken by a machine.

8. Your content

What you write or record stays yours.

You give contigo only the permission to keep it and to show it to the other person in your class, for the time written in the privacy notice.

The name contigo, the code and the course belong to Eugenio Nerelli.

9. Age

At least 18 years old. You declare it when you create the account.

10. The account

One per person. Do not share it.

You delete it whenever you like, from the app: "Delete my account". Your data follows the privacy notice.

11. Law and courts

Spanish law.

If you are a consumer, you can go to the judge of your place of residence (art. 90 TRLGDCU).

These terms do not change without telling you. Any change is announced beforehand, as in point 4.

12. The iPhone app

If you downloaded contigo from the App Store, Apple's standard agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) applies too. Apple is not a party to these terms.

13. Versions

The date and the version are at the top. Earlier versions, on request at the contact in point 1.

This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is written to say clearly what contigo is today.
